REDISCOVERING CHILDHOOD

Inquire | Play | Connect

Rediscovering Childhood motivates curiosity, inspires inquiry and aims to establish a lifelong love for learning and the natural world. With a flexible schedule and curriculum that emerge through exploration- we embrace free-play, problem-solving, expressiveness and conversation. Children spend an equal amount of time indoors and outdoors, with a curriculum developed in response to children’s thoughts, questions, ideas and interests.

Please note, we are not a Preschool Program. We are a Recreation Program - "Recreation is the experience that results from freely chosen participation in physical, social, intellectual, creative and spiritual pursuits that enhance individual and community well being.” (ISRC & CPRA, 2015). Recreation includes a wide range of active activities and programs that incorporate physical activity such as movement, arts, dance, cultural and heritage activities, and events.

As a Recreation Program, we operates in seasonal semesters (Fall, Winter and Spring). We accept registration for 1, 2, 3 or 4 days per week each semester. If you wish to register your child for the subsequent semester, you must complete a new registration form.
